Crossbar Map Holder (version 1.0) on the Cheap!

Ok, so Aerostitch sells these for $15-$20. I saw similarly priced ones at REI.

Here's a slightly hokey, but fully functional crossbar mapcase that I made.

It cost less than fifty cents to make (and about 15 minutes).

I attached Stadium Hardware "fridge" magnets (the super strong ones) with duct tape to keep the bag from flying up in the wind. The duct tape serves to hold the magnets in the right place, and to keep my tank from getting scratched ;-)
